Homebuyers dreaming of building their perfect home in just the right spot need look no further than Sirocco at Pine Creek.
Shane Homes, one of five legacy builders in the southwest community, can make that dream a reality with highly customizable homes in a new community where prime lots are still available.
Sirocco at Pine Creek by Anthem United is located adjacent to the Sirocco Golf Club, a semi-private, 380-hectare course sheltered in the Pine Creek Valley. Sirocco consists of semi-estate homes on a selection of larger lots. Shane’s offering in the community includes 14 model homes including one of its finest — the Tofino — as a show home.
With 2,468 square feet, the Tofino is a two-storey front-drive model with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It has opened the doors to a lot of positive feedback from visitors.
“In terms of show homes, the feedback is the best I’ve ever had,” says area manager Rut Aronovich. “People like the use of space, the open-to-above foyer with its grand entrance and they especially like the butler’s pantry.”
The price range for new homes in Sirocco is from the high $400,000s to the $700,000s, and Shane’s Tofino, starting in the $550,000s, fits right in. While the builder has artfully engineered each of those 14 floor plans, the blueprints are basically just a starting point.
“The biggest difference with Shane Homes is that we will customize any of our models based on preferences. We can reconfigure the space and rearrange bedrooms — we can do three, four or five bedrooms, all upstairs, or we can put one on the main floor. We’re open to whatever changes people would like to make to their new home. They are the expert when it comes to what they want in their own home,” Aronovich explains.
Having said that, there are several aspects to a Shane home that buyers love as is, she adds.
“People want a really nice, open-concept kitchen, with a big island and built-in appliances. They also love our master suites. Our show home — the Tofino — has the laundry room connected to the closet of the master bedroom and people really love that. People also love our use of windows. In Sirocco, there are no zero lots, they’re all conventional, so we can put windows at the side of the house, not just the front and back. Having more windows makes our homes seem so much brighter,” she says.
In addition to the larger lots in Sirocco — as wide as 44 feet in some instances — there are walkout lots on the five-hectare pond. As a semi-estate community, the architecture of Sirocco has an impressive air with rich colours, handpicked masonry and wider garages.
There’s space reserved in the community for a public school, and soon more greenspace and four playgrounds will be developed. Down the road, lots will be available on the Sirocco Golf Club itself and the ridge. The pathways throughout the neighbourhood will also link with the trails and bike paths in Pine Creek.
All manner of commercial services are available in nearby Silverado, Walden, Legacy and Shawnessy. And Sirocco, located west of Macleod Trail and south of 210th Ave S.W., is only a few intersections away from the ring road extension, too.
For a limited time, Shane Homes is offering a smart home package as standard with every new home purchase. It includes a Nest thermostat, a doorbell camera, a Google Home Mini, smart locks, smart lights and plugs.
