Anthem United has lots being developed in south Calgary, with three communities underway — Belmont, Sirocco at Pine Creek and Pine Creek, which is the most compact of the three, says Megan Starke, Anthem United’s marketing manager.

“Pine Creek is 120 acres that will be home to more than 900 homes at build out in three to five years. Since the community is smaller, visitors are enjoying how intimate the community feels,” says Starke, adding four well-known builders are in Pine Creek’s first phase. “Morrison Homes and Shane Homes are building paired homes, starting from the $310,000s and front-drive homes are being built by Sterling Homes and Trico Homes, starting from the mid-$400,000s.”

As a reference, Pine Creek is directly west of the community of Legacy and south of Silverado, west of Macleod Tr.

The community is designed to be purely residential, but amenities are just minutes away, says Starke.

“The Silverado Marketplace is a four-minute drive away and the Gates of Walden shopping area is just an eight-minute drive away. Travel a little further to the north and you’ll find Shawnessy Village, just 12 minutes away by car,” she says, adding a major retail and commercial centre is being developed on 210 Ave. at Macleod Tr.

Pine Creek is on the eastern edge of the foothills and close to Fish Creek Park.

“There is a natural wetland that will be connected to walking trails throughout the community, which will also have three parks and a pond,” says Starke. “A future school site with a sports field is also planned.”
