Belmont is off to the races with 12 showhomes, playgrounds and soon-to-be-finished access roads into the new development west of Macleod Trail.
Created by Anthem United, Belmont is a new community with a focus on affordability and new beginnings.
“We wanted to create a place where families can watch their future build out in front of them,” says Megan Starke, marketing manager at Anthem United.
Six participating builders are offering various front-drive, laned homes and townhomes, with and without condo fees. Cedarglen Homes, Homes by Avi, Jayman Built, Morrison Homes, Shane Homes and Trico Homes are all creating the vision of Belmont, with prices starting in the $330,000s for townhomes and in the $370,000s and high $400,000s for single-family models.
“There’s a brand new park and playground in Phase 1 for current residents and the City of Calgary has purchased land on the south side of Belmont for a future recreation centre. It will be exciting to watch it all happen,” says Starke.
The 194 Ave. S.W. extension from Macleod Trail to Sheriff King Street is slated to open in the fall of 2018, which will smooth out access to Stoney and Deerfoot Trails.
“Belmont is also surrounded by amazing amenities for families to enjoy, such as Spruce Meadows, the Sirocco Golf Club and Granary Road,” says Starke.
The South Calgary Health Campus Hospital, restaurants and grocery stores are established in adjacent communities, with Cardel Rec Centre and the Somerset LRT Station located a few minutes north.
